Disability Support Worker

We work within the community and disability-supported accommodation settings, which includes the provision of personal care to men & women, as well as support with activities of daily living.

Note that all of our staff must be available to complete shift work, ranging from early mornings to active night shifts as part of a consistent and focused team. 

You Must Have:

  • Current Driver's Licence & own motor vehicle with comprehensive insurance

  • First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

  • National Police Check dated within the last 3 months of this application

  • Working with Children's Check clearance

  • Willingness to work across all Brighter Access' services and with a variety of Participants

  • Able to be flexible and work different shifts over a 24/7 roster (afternoon and night shift work attracts allowances on top of your base wage)

  • Commitment to inclusion & disability service standards required.

 

Desirable:

  • Previous experience working in disability supports

 

Remuneration: SCHADS Award Level 2.
