NDIS

First introduced in 2013, the NDIS stands for National Disability Insurance Scheme. The agency responsible for delivering the scheme is known as the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA). The NDIS is Australia’s first nation-wide scheme providing funding directly to people with disability.

People under the age of 65 with a permanent and significant disability, impacting on their ability to participate in everyday activities, should consider finding out more about the NDIS. To be eligible for the NDIS, you have to meet an eligibility criteria.

Find out more on the NDIS website.

If you are eligible and receive an access decision letter, your NDIS plan will be created. Each plan is different depending on the needs of each person. An NDIS representative will work with you and ask questions to help develop a plan that provides the right support for you.

The goal-focused plan will outline the kind of help and support you need. From there, Brighter Access, as an NDIS service provider, can assist you with this plan in many different ways.

Pricing

The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) imposes price controls on some support services by setting the prices that registered providers can charge for those services.

As a registered NDIS provider, Brighter Access charges the current NDIS prices for support services. Brighter Access is also compliant with the NDIA’s eligibility terms to use the Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP) conditional loading and will use the TTP prices where applicable.
