Juanita driven to advocate for NDIS Participants

Juanita Morgan’s career progression from Disability Support Worker to now Trainee Accommodation Manager with Brighter Access has allowed her to advocate for more than one Participant at a time.

For the past three years, Juanita has been passionately supporting NDIS Participants to live an independent life. Based in Inverell, Juanita took the leap to further her career as she felt her life experience, drive and passion could assist in making a bigger difference.

“So far I’ve learned that with love, determination and drive dreams can become a reality. I love going to work every day knowing I am part of a team who all have the same heart as myself. We empower people and change lives for the better every day,” she said.

Juanita has had many moments in the past three years where she knew she was supporting a person with disability to achieve their dream. She said the happiness created in these moments was a hard thing to describe!

“I am very blessed in life to have a job that I love getting out of bed for. I love going the extra mile for our Participants and wouldn’t change it for the world.”
